“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is…
Great way to kick-start a devotional life!

The New Year is fast approaching. It’s ridiculous how fast this year flew by.. One thing I love about the new year is RESOLUTIONS!!! I love the feeling of being able to start over and surprisingly i actually stood my some of the resolutions from last year. These are some beauty resolutions i plan to stick by! As seen on one of my favorite beauty websites check them out!
I vow to:
Find my signature scent.
Exfoliate my body at least once a week.
Use a mask at least once a week.
Wear SPF 30 every single day. And I will not forget to cover my ears, neck, décolleté and hands.
Never, ever smoke a cigarette.
Not pick at any pimples I should (hopefully not) get.
Find the perfect red lipstick because it will give me an extra dose of sassiness.
Learn to apply my daytime makeup routine in 10 minutes or less.
Throw out all of my expired makeup. If I can’t remember when I bought it, it’s too old.
Clean my makeup brushes every week.
Experiment with styles (in the privacy of my bathroom) that I never thought I could pull off.
Sleep on a satin pillowcase to protect my hair.
Not abuse my flat iron, curling iron, blow dryer
Sleep 6-8 hours a night.
Drink lots of water for a healthy body.
Take a multivitamin every day. They even make gummy vitamins for grownups so I have no excuse.
Have better posture.
Smile.
Tell myself that I am beautiful every. single. day.
What are some of yours??

This last year has been an adventure, to say the least. So much has happened and I am glad I can say it was almost all positive. There is so much to be grateful for. First, ALL THANKS be to God for being so (there is really no word that would fully encompass all he is[to me]) LOVING! By loving I am referring to the bible’s perfect description of love. God has been really patient with me and my life. Although, he has been pretty clear in letting me see what needs to go and what I need to get rid of. I am truly a hoarder when it comes to certain areas of my life. But this year I am so proud to say I gave up something pretty significant, something I was hanging on to, something I couldn’t envision my life without! Something that was hindering my life idea of complete happiness.
Second my amazing family. We have had our UPS and DOWNS in the last years. These last years have not been easy but it seems as if this year they have decided to all come together. We are the happiest and in the best place we have ever been. So happy to have everyone together this thanksgiving!
Third, I am oh so very grateful for my incredible friends. For the selected few I can truly call BEST FRIENDS! These are the people who have my back, who love me unconditionally, who sincerely want the best for my life, and who show it every day. They not only say they love me, they show me with their kind words and actions! I love them! God has truly blessed me in this area.
Last, but definitely not least, I am ever so thankful for my mentors and for my many influences. I have very wise people speaking truth into my life. These are GODLY people who have believed in me, have ignited a passion in me, and guided me through specific areas in my life. They have been there for me, shared their knowledge and given me a bite of their wisdom. They have allowed me priceless opportunities. I am who I am, the leader that I am because of your influence! EVER SO GRATEFUL!
Happy Thanksgiving to ALL!!! “God is great, God is Good, and we thank him for our food!” Enjoy!
